[Yonago City] A superb soup packed with the bounty of Tottori! Enjoy blissful ramen at "Men-dokoro Sankoho," a restaurant with long lines.

Hello everyone! I'm Yukari Tanaka, a freelance announcer and influencer.
"TORiTABE" introduces delicious gourmet food and wonderful spots in Tottori Prefecture and the surrounding San'in region.
This time, we visited "Men-dokoro Sankoho," a hugely popular ramen restaurant located in Kaike Onsen, Yonago City, for an interview!
I often pass by it, and there's frequently a line during business hours.
It's recommended to go outside of peak hours!

Appearance and introspection
Upon arriving at the shop nestled in a corner of the Kaike Onsen hot spring town, you'll be greeted by a large, tasteful wooden sign bearing the shop's name and a vibrant red noren (traditional Japanese curtain). The exterior is charming, harmonizing with the atmosphere of the hot spring town and exuding a sense of warmth and history.
Upon opening the sliding door and stepping inside, you'll find yourself in a modern and stylish space, a stark contrast to the retro atmosphere of the exterior!
The counter seats are lined with striking, bright red chairs.
It has a very clean and chic atmosphere.
The counter layout and partitions show great attention to detail.
One of the great things about this place is that it's easy for a woman to casually drop in alone.
Thoughtful touches like providing aprons so you can enjoy your meal without getting your clothes dirty are a nice touch.
A clear broth with deep umami! "Shikatori Soy Sauce Ramen" (1,000 yen) made with local ingredients.
The first dish we tried was the "Deer and Chicken Soy Sauce Ramen," a noteworthy menu item packed with the bounty of Tottori.
The moment it's brought to the table, the savory and rich aroma of soy sauce fills the air.
This soup contains deer bones from "Wakasa 29 Kobo" in Wakasa Town, Tottori Prefecture,
It luxuriously uses "Daisen Chicken," a brand of chicken that Tottori Prefecture is proud of.
When you scoop it up with a spoon, the soup is a beautifully clear amber color that is truly enchanting.
With just one bite, the deep richness of the deer bone and the refined, rich flavor of the Daisen chicken spread throughout your mouth!
The smooth, medium-thin noodles are perfectly coated in the soup, and the moist, tender char siu, crunchy bamboo shoots, and refreshing mitsuba (Japanese parsley) provide just the right accents. It was a blissful bowl of ramen that made me want to drink every last drop.
"Ramen (rich soy sauce)" (1,000 yen) packed with the rich flavor of fresh, locally sourced chicken.
Next, we were served ramen based on their signature soup, which is made with plenty of chicken from Tottori Prefecture and simmered for a long time until it becomes thick and cloudy.
It's topped with crisp cabbage and other vegetables, making it visually appealing!
The soup, which is packed with the rich flavor and depth of local chicken, is combined with Japanese-style dashi made from bonito flakes, dried sardines, and kelp, resulting in a rich yet refreshing aftertaste.
Unlike the clear and refined "Deer and Chicken Soy Sauce Ramen" from the first dish, this was a fascinating bowl of ramen that allowed me to fully enjoy its mellow and profound richness!
