A special place where you can enjoy Tottori's stunning scenery and delicious food all at once.
I went to the "Natural Scenic View Sky Lounge" located on the second floor of Tottori Golf Club.

Appearance and introspection

The moment you take your first step inside, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Tottori Sand Dunes.
Actually, this is a restaurant with a spectacular view that members of the imperial family have visited many times in the past.
The opportunity to dine while enjoying this magnificent view alone makes the visit worthwhile.

Kuradashi Katsu Curry

My main objective this time was the "Kuradashi Katsu Curry," which has a reputation for being delicious.
The carefully aged roux has a deep richness and intense umami flavor that is truly exquisite.

The main ingredient, the pork cutlet, is made with juicy and sweet "Daisen Pork" from Tottori Prefecture.
The meat, encased in a crispy coating, is surprisingly tender and pairs perfectly with the aged curry sauce.

The rice that pairs best with the curry is Koshihikari from Tottori Prefecture, our local area. The natural sweetness of the rice enhances the spiciness of the curry.
Apparently, the vegetables used in the side salads and other dishes are also locally sourced.

And then there's "Fukube's pickled shallots," an indispensable companion to curry.
The crisp texture and exquisite balance of sweet and sour flavors refreshed my palate.
