[Oyama Town] Blueberry picking at Akita Blueberry Farm!!

Hello! This is Masashi Morimoto!
The place we visited this time was "Akita Blueberry Farm" in Akamatsu, Oyama Town.
Actually... even though I live in Oyama Town, I haven't had many opportunities to experience blueberry picking, so I was really looking forward to heading to the farm.

Appearance and introspection
This year, it opened on June 21st, and you can enjoy blueberry picking until early September.
The day I visited was a hot day after the end of the rainy season, but the clear blue sky and lush green trees made for a truly wonderful and refreshing location.
Blueberry hunting
Admission is 1,000 yen per person for junior high school students and older, and 600 yen per person for elementary school students.
This time, in addition to the entrance fee, I also chose a pick-your-own pack to take home [M size, 800 yen].
When you eat the blueberries you've just picked right there, their freshness and refreshing sweetness fill your mouth.
The orchard was filled with blueberries of varying sizes and colors, and when I tasted them, I found that each berry had a slightly different flavor, ranging from very sweet to pleasantly tart.
"Which one looks the most delicious?" I find myself comparing them and trying them one by one, so it takes a while to fill up my take-home container (lol).
Summary: This is a restaurant recommended for people like this.
Akita Blueberry Farm is recommended for those who want to stop by and enjoy fresh, seasonal blueberries while sightseeing in Mt. Daisen.
It's enjoyable for families, friends, and couples alike. Its appeal also lies in the fact that you can easily stop by during a drive.
If you're planning to enjoy blueberry picking during the hot season, don't forget to take precautions against heatstroke, such as bringing a hat and drinks!
Pets are allowed, provided you follow proper etiquette, including using the restrooms. You can also bring your own lunch, but please take your trash with you.
I visited alone this time, but next time I'd like to come with my family.

My name is Masashi Morimoto, and I have been appointed a "TORiTABE Influencer." I was born and raised in Daisen Town (formerly Nakayama Town), Tottori Prefecture, and after living in Yonago, Kyoto, I have returned to Daisen Town. I am usually a salaryman. I don't have enough influence to be called an influencer, but I love to eat! I love to drink! I walk, run, and eat again! In these days, I will do my best to deliver "delicious!" news from Daisen Town, Tottori. I hope to be able to convey the charm of this region with one bite, one step at a time.
